So I've been getting a few questions about TLK: E and I wanted to answer them in a FAQ! I hope this clears some stuff up for you!
- How many "Parts" will this comic have?
- -Right now, I have about 6-7 planned.
- What will these parts consist of?
- -Part one is what we're in right now. It takes place right around the same time of Uru's birth.
- Part 2 is going to be about how Ahadi met Uru
- Part three is Taka's story
- Part four is about Scar's reign
- Part 5 is about Simba's return, through to the end of TLK 2 (hopefully)
- Part 6 is planned to be about Kiara and Kovu's reign. That's all I've planned to do
- How long will each "part" be?
- -It really depends. I am not planning to have more than 120-130 pages, but no less than 90 per comic. It really depends on how the story progresses.
- Will you feature any cameo's in your comic?
- -YES!!! I've already confirmed one, but I want to have more than that!
- Can my character be in your comic
- -I'm... not sure. I do want some cameo's, but I'm not sure where I can integrate them yet. Feel free to post some charas though!
- Will there be a gay/lesbian couple in this comic?
- -Yes. I do have at least one planned. That is something that most comics, not just TLK stuff, sorta skim over. As of right now, I can guarantee Echelon will feature a gay/lesbian couple.
- Will this comic be bloody?
- -Not overly, but yes, there will be blood.
- How many Semi-canon characters will this comic feature?
- -Almost all of the more common ones, I think. I have parts planned for Malka, Tojo, Chumvi, Kula, Tama, Ni, Selfish, Tanglemane, Mheetu, and Bhati. (don't think I missed anyone)
- Will this comic make me cry?
- -Hmmm.... Maybe just a little...
- What size canvas do you draw on?
- -I use a 3477x 4500 for comic paes
- How long does it take to draw a page?
- -Usually between 3-4 hours, from start to finish. Depends on the scene though.
- -When/ How often do you update?
- -So far I have updated the comic every Saturday at 2 pm EST for about 15 weeks. I don't think I've ever missed one by more than a day, so I should be able to keep up with this update schedule
.- Will this comic have cameo's from other comics? - -Only if the scene fits and I have permission from the original owner.
- -What made you decide to start Echelon?
- - I was inspired by all the great TLK artists (you know who you are!) and I wanted to share my theories with the rest of the TLK world.
